Tree and Forest Surveys

Rick has been conducting surveys in the Natural Resources Management field, throughout his career. He is a provincially certified Silviculture Surveyor.

In the urban setting, having good records of all the trees on your estate, strata, or park is good management tool. Richard recommends tree inventories as a good place to start. A tree inventory is a record of all the trees on your property and a summary of their characteristics, features, hazards, or maintenance requirements. Survey structure and content, and reporting format, can vary depending on the need at hand.
